In Minecraft, Villagers are the most important part of the game. Because of some of the benefits villagers bring to Minecraft, such as trading, it can be helpful to have them close to you or in a location you choose. You can move villagers in Minecraft by manipulating boats, minecarts, or job blocks. Below, we have explained all the different ways of relocating a villager.

How To Move Villagers In Minecraft
- Use boats : In Minecraft, the easiest way to move villagers is to use a boat. Build a boat and put it in front of a villager while on the move. After boarding the boat, steer it to your desired location. Boating on land is quite slow, but if you have access to running water, it will become the fastest way to travel. However, the significant weakness of this method is that you can’t move the boat uphill – they can only move to a uniform world level or lower. This means that you have to clear the road for a long distance.
- Cure zombie method: You need to find and chase one or more zombies. Keep running to where you want them to be… and upon reaching it, kill them with the Weakness Splash Potion. Feed the zombies enchanted golden apples to heal them. You need to do this at night to prevent the zombies from getting burned by the sun.
- Use minecarts : It is fast but expensive, as it requires you a lot of resources and preparation. This method is mainly used to move your entire village or move several villagers to a new location. Trap a villager in a small space and then build a railway in it. Move the minecart directly next to them so they have no choice but to move on. Overall, the main obstacle here is laying the tracks – this can take a lot of time and effort. Do this only if you plan to use Rails for some other purpose later.

- Build corridors: Trap all the villagers to stop them from moving here and there. And then build a simple one-block-long corridor toward the location where you need your villagers. Lure a nearby zombie to steer the villagers to the desired location in the corridor. you still need to build a corridor for it, which is a lot of effort.
- Place job blocks: It is fairly hard to use this method for long distances, as it is much slower than walking. Villagers automatically find and reach job blocks nearby. Players can use this AI mechanic to move unemployed villagers around by placing a job block and removing it.
